Even in an open-plan office, there is a need for quiet zones – for example, for phone calls, meetings or undisturbed work. A retreat room or meeting cubicle can be positioned directly within the office environment, right next to the workstations. It provides acoustic screening, whilst at the same time offering the necessary transparency and openness to the outside world to ensure people feel at ease whilst inside.
